Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (GMT+1000)
Australia is a country of campers. Throughout the Europen occupation of our wide brown land we have headed to beach-side campsites in droves. Camping is essential to the Australian experience and is now the topic of a PhD by writer Bill Garner, who has been studying this phenomenon for 10 years and camping at Johanna beach for much longer!
Join with other campers as Bill delivers this unique visual presentation of the history of camping in Australia.
Bring your camping chair and mug along!
Enjoy the warmth of Cup-a-Soup and crusty bread at 6.30pm or just come for the presentation at 7.00pm.
